Introducing i9's iPBX Voice Over IP (VoIP) Platform

 120091_62142

i9's IP-based Private Branch Exchange (iPBX) uses open standards and technologies to build a robust, scalable,  and cost effective iPBX. The major advantages to this approach are as follows:

Cost Reduction
Significantly lower costs compared to expensive proprietary solutions.
Convergence Integration of voice and data networks is more efficient allowing centralized management.
Scalability Whether you need a phone system with 5 lines or a fully integrated PBX solution with 2000 lines, i9 Technologies can provide a cost effective solution.
Advanced Infrastructure Support for integration into numerous applications streamlines work flow and reduces data entry.
Remote Office Provides ability to remote office. Phone number follows location of employee.
Disaster Recovery The ease with which your telecommunications network can be up and running from a new location quickly.

As a result, by using i9's iPBX it is possible to have a high–end telephony system for a fraction of the cost incurred with traditional proprietary methods.

i9 iPBX is fully capable of working with IP telephony as well as with POTS (Plain Old Telephony Service) devices. This new approach to telephony will change the rapidly–expanding iPBX market dramatically in the near future; It will enable smaller companies using open standards–based platforms to offer the same types of telephony services akin to those of large corporations and enterprises, including call centers.

Features

With i9 iPBX as your telephony switching platform you'll not only have a high-class PBX replacement but a new platform on which to grow and expand your business offerings. With i9 iPBX in your network, you can perform business in many new ways.

...and much more

i9 iPBX as a Traditional PBX

i9iPBX can be used as a PBX for traditional analog telephony. You may upgrade an old telephony system without the high cost of changing all of your telephone sets to IP based phones. You will then be able to enjoy all the features without investing in additional equipment. i9 iPBX also allows you to gradually start using IP service providers and IP telephone sets in conjunction with old equipment.

I9 iPBX as an IP-Based iPBX Platform

i9's iPBX is fully capable of functioning as an iPBX. The only requirements are: an i9 iPBX unit; LAN (Local Area Network) and IP telephone sets or IP gateways for connecting analog phones. i9 iPBX can work with several IP telephony protocols, such as SIP, MGCP, H323, SCCP (Cisco’s proprietary protocol). i9 iPBX also works with IAX2 (Inter Asterisk eXchange) protocol, an open source protocol that works with i9 iPBX and which handles NAT and firewalls better than SIP and other protocols. Due to i9's iPBX ability to understand multiple protocols, i9 iPBX can also be used as a gateway between those protocols.

Quality of Service (QOS)

i9 iPBX runs on Linux, an industry leader in robust, scalable and stable operating systems.
Highly regarded for its speed, reliability and security, Linux continues to evolve through contributed efforts from developers worldwide and is being used in all industries.

Linux is one of the world's fastest-growing operating systems. Open standards allow the interoperability of various applications, technologies, and computer devices, providing customers with a wider choice and flexibility to deploy applications. Linux  then becomes a key player in i9i9's iPBX strategy due to it's flexibility,  environment and stability -- that can evolve as a customer's needs evolve.

Linux is more than ready to run mission critical applications.
