Internet Services:

• Internet connections coming inside are provided by multiple Tier 1, 2, and 3 providers. Some of our providers are Sprint, MCI, Qwest, Time Warner and Touch America.  Copper cabling was done using all CAT 6 cable from the internet provider’s access point all the way upstairs to the server racks. Our MDF room allows quick change of internet service providers in the need of a quick change.

Power Redundancy:

• Power from two Service company  arrives via in the north and south. This is our first point of power redundancy. If local construction happens to cut through one line, we still receive power from the alternate line. Each power line runs through a grounded line conditioner and then into the building.  As soon as a major power loss occurs, a generator starts to provide long term power. The generator takes approximately 26 seconds to come up to full speed and supply electricity to the building.
  
  
• Battery backups provide power in the event of a major power loss.  The building can operate from battery power for more than 8 hours.
