clients cant connect

Hi, I am trying to setup isymphony for a client. He was using HUD but due to the bugs and non-development he is looking for alternatives.

I am running trixbox v2.6.1.10
iSymphony v2.0 rev 1104

The isymphony status says its up, but I cannot get the 2.0 or 2.1b client to connect with the admin/secret username / password.

The port we are using to connect is 5038..

The error is "Profile test could not connect: Could not contact host"

if I change under login:type to location

I get "Error occured while parsing socket message:null"

"Error occurred while decyprting message: Input length must be mltiple of 8 when decrypting with padded cipher"

The client should be connecting on port 50001 which is the default iSymphony server port. Do not connect the client directly to the AMI port 5038. Also make sure you are using the same version of the software for the client and server.

Thanks for the reply. I tried port 50001 with the same result, could not contact host.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Also I am running the 2.0 ver on the server and 2.0 of the client. I uninstalled 2.1 and I am not using the beta product on the server.

Do you have a number for support? The customer is on me to get this working as he needs a solution for his office.

I contacted Sean. He was able to get me connected to clients on port 50000. Thanks for the support! Product is nice
